The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Harare Metropolitan Province, Hon. Sen. C. Z. Tawengwa, together with Directors, Deputy Directors and staff, join His Excellency the President, Cde Dr. E. D. Mnangagwa and the entire nation in expressing heartfelt condolences to the Chiringa family on the passing of our National Hero, Cde Cosmas Chiringa.
We mourn a humble and hardworking leader whose life was defined by loyalty, discipline and diligence in public service. A dedicated cadre of the liberation struggle, who continued to serve the nation with distinction after independence.
As Permanent Secretary for Harare Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Cde Chiringa provided firm leadership, advanced Zimbabwe’s Devolution Agenda and strengthened service delivery in the Province. His passing is a great loss to Harare Metropolitan Province and to the nation at large.
